I love the great movement and the character lends itself to some great movement.
I must say that the spots moving with the figure is way stronger, the other creates an "inverse" effect for the movements- it would be like putting a megaphone on the animator's overlap and drag.
It depends. I love them both! Still, gives it that retro (old school Chuck Jones feel..i.e retro backgrounds with coloring outside of lines) moving adds to your character.

yeah I dig the one with the moving pattern, you can feel more weight in her walk. Awesome job AL!
Hey man, it was nice meeting you too. Definitely prefer the one with the moving pattern. Love the action on the chin.
I love it with the movement, as dwilson put it "It's way strong" but I feel it add's to the weight and attitude of the character.
moving.
i like em both, awesome cycle!!
Im voting for moving, adds more weight. The other way it seems like the character is transparent. Great job dude!
Moving!
great appeal, easy on the eyes!

Cool :)
Moving!
Don't know if it's too late for this but If you're taking a tally, I'd go with moving pattern.
I think the body movement is subtle, not seeing the pattern move hides the arm. It might help if the spot in the pattern wasn't black.
Cool cycle.
